Post Power-Outage resembles a massive digital clock that has been through a power-outage, making it constantly flash the default time of 12:00. The size of the piece will be 8 feet wide and 4 feet tall. The proportion and constant flashing will give the viewer an uneasy feeling, almost as if they should reset the clock to the right time, or at least do something to stop the annoying flashing.

In such an advancing technological age, electronics are the tools we use primarily in our work and homes. Society relies heavily on electricity to charge these tools. Every once in a while the “system” may need to be reset when things fail or freeze. Post Power-outage reflects the moment when a reset happens. The power grid that your home is connected to can and will sometimes fail, even though you may take it for granted.
